Galanthus Dionysus - A Double Hybrid Collectors Snowdrop
Galanthus Dionysus is an early flowering and tall Greatorex double hybrid snowdrop with a pedicel that is much longer than the spathe. Discovered by Greatorex in Brundall in the 1940’s, it has rounded, open flowers with green hearts on the inner segments and grey-green leaves with a folded back margin. Occasionally a single or semi-double flower will be produced, with larger plants even producing a full double and a single flower simultaneously from the same bulb on separate scapes. A large snowdrop, growing up to 20cm high and flowering early into the season in January/February.
Price is for one flowering size bulb.
